Dear Supervisors,
Since September 22, 2017, several changes have been made to the regulations concerning the internal defence phase of the doctoral degree procedure. These changes are part of the University Doctoral Regulations and the BDT Doctoral Regulations. While it is primarily the responsibility of the doctoral candidate to familiarize themselves with the exact procedure and read the relevant regulations before submitting the dissertation, it is equally important to draw the attention of supervisors to these changes. This way, they can directly communicate the updated information to candidates preparing for their internal defence, as compliance with the rules – and ensuring their observance – is also the responsibility of the supervisors.
If you have any further questions, please contact the secretary of the Doctoral School!
